This application is designed to teach your child about Number Bonds. Number bonds help young children (Key Stage 1) to remember the mental shortcuts for addition that adults take for granted.
The game itself is a variation of Pelmanism (or Concentration). A game often copied in Flash games on the Internet. I got the idea for it from a teaching website that had lots of ideas for maths games. I’ll post a link if I can find it again.
